  • What does it cost to be promoted?

You’re in luck! There is no cost to be listed. The only requirement is that you purchase & install your EV chargers through Pangea Charging. Just another perk of working with Pangea Charging.

  • What cars can charge on the chargers you provide?

Every mass produced electric vehicle will be capable of charging, including Teslas.

  • How many chargers should I install?

It depends on parking availability, guest traffic, and type of venue and ultimately your budget.

  • How long does it take to charge an EV?

Parking for 1 hour at a restaurant can provide up to 25 miles back to the battery. Parking at hotels means “set it and forget it”. Go to sleep and wake up to nearly a full battery (depending on battery size).

  • How do I make money from EV chargers?

Through charging fees, increased guest spend, longer dwell times, and positive brand perception.

  • Do I need to upgrade my electrical infrastructure?

Sometimes. This will depend on existing power availability and charger type. A site assessment will clarify the electrical scope.

  • Can I brand the chargers with my logo or promotions?

Yes — many stations allow for custom wraps and signage to promote your brand.

  • How long does installation take from start to finish?

Typically 60–90 days from “Yes, we want to do this” to having operational chargers on site. This all depends on permitting, equipment availability, and site conditions. We recommend getting installation completed before March 1, 2026, so we can spend 3-4 months marketing you ahead of World Cup 2026 which begins June 2026.

  • Why work with Pangea to install EV charging stations?

This is the ONLY listing specifically focused on promoting EV-friendly restaurants & hotels for World Cup 2026 festivities.

  • Can I install a charger later and still be listed?

No, EV chargers must be installed and ready for EV drivers to use before World Cup 2026.

  • How soon should I act?

We recommend interested parties to get started ASAP. A complete EV charging project can take about 3 months to complete, from initial inquiry to having operational EV chargers. World Cup activities begin June 2026. Properties not fully installed and operational with EV chargers by March 1, 2026 risk not being included on the ElectricWorldCup2026 website.

  • What is the benefit of adding EV charging to my building?

○ Hotels – you’ll show up when prospects filter their hotel searches by “EV charging”.Book more room nights and produce a new revenue stream with charging stations. 
○ Restaurants – increase traffic to your venue, upsell guests as they enjoy their dwell time inside your store, and increase average ticket size.

  • How fast are your chargers?

While we can provide chargers of all speeds, we will work with you to match the right speed charger with the typical dwell time of your customers, minimizing costs and maximizing impact.

  • What types of EV chargers are best for my business?

Restaurants and hotels often benefit from Level 2 charging stations. This is 6.6kW up to 19.2 kW.

  • Can I charge drivers to use the stations?

Yes — you can offer free charging as a perk or set pricing per kWh, per session, or by time. But the best returns will come from what they spend inside your business.

  • How do I manage and monitor the chargers?

Chargers will include network software to track usage, pricing, and uptime remotely. Over time the analytics will provide valuable insights and allow you to optimize charging fees and access.

  • Who handles maintenance and repairs?

We can offer this through warranties and service plans for maintenance and support to ensure you can stay focused on your business.

  • Can I list my chargers on EV apps and maps?

Yes — this literally “puts you on the map” allowing you to attract new customers via the most popular EV charging locator apps – Google Maps, PlugShare,  ChargePoint, and more.
